Gasoline prices are not favorable to the recovery in 2022 trucks, but some models suffer more than others. Specifically, there are two trucks that cost over $100 to fill up right now — and one that costs $99, according to Consumer Reports. Here are the three pickups that will cost you close to triple figures – or more, the higher the price you’ll pay to get started.

The 2022 Nissan Titan ranks sixth on Consumer Reports’ list of the most expensive vehicles to fill up right now, and it’s the most expensive pickup truck to fill up. To determine how much it costs to fill up these vehicles, Consumer Reports calculated how much it would cost to fill up the tank from zero based on gasoline prices on April 12, 2022. The national average then was $4.12.

The 2022 Nissan Titan costs $107 to fill up according to Consumer Reports calculations. It has a 26 gallon tank and can travel 416 miles on a single tank. The Titan can get 11 mpg in the city, 22 mpg on the highway and 16 mpg overall.

Pricing for the Nissan Titan starts at $38,310 and goes up to $60,280. It has a King Cab and a Crew Cab and only comes with a 400hp 5.6-liter V8 engine mated to an automatic transmission, according to Car and driver. This engine can produce up to 400 horsepower and 413 lb-ft of torque. It has a quiet and comfortable cabin, making it an attractive full-size pickup truck.

The 2022 Titan also has a 9-inch touchscreen and is compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The redesign of the Nissan Titan meant the van got a whole host of vital safety features, like automatic emergency braking and lane departure warning.
