4. The 2022 Ram 2500 is one of the best rugged pickups

Pricing for the 2022 Ram 2500 starts at $42,775. This comes with a 6.4-liter HEMI V8 engine that develops 410 hp and 429 lb-ft of torque. The engine is powerful enough to tow up to 17,540 pounds. This is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. There is also a 6.7-liter inline 6-cylinder diesel engine.
There are many packages available to add to the 2022 Ram 1500. Some of them include the Bed Utility Package, which includes LED bed lighting, a deployable bed and a spray-on bed liner. There is also a Chrome Appearance Package which includes a chrome appearance on the exterior of the Ram truck.
3. The 2022 Ford F-250 costs less than $40,000

The King Ranch bumps the price up a little higher, to $65,595. The Platinum costs $68,910, and the top-end Ford F-250 Limited price starts at $87,630.
The Ford Super Duty can be equipped with one of three engines. There’s a 6.2-liter V8 available that produces 385 hp and 430 lb-ft of torque and is mated to a 6-speed transmission. Then there’s a 7.3-liter V8 that produces 430 horsepower and 475 lb-ft of torque and is mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. Finally, the F-250 can be equipped with a 6.7-liter turbocharged diesel V8 that develops 475 horsepower and 1,050 lb-ft of torque and is also mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission.

Pricing for the 2022 Chevy Silverado 2500HD starts at $35,300. Sounds pretty reasonable, doesn’t it? Well, that price can be a lot higher, and if you want it fully charged, it’ll do. Go for the crew cab with long bed, for example, and you’re already down to $43,595. Make it a High Country with a 6.6-liter V8 turbodiesel engine paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission and you’ve got $76,595.
There are even premium colors. Iridescent Pearl Tricoat adds $995. Add the High Country Deluxe package for $1,965. This will give you a few safety features like a rear camera mirror and safety alert seat as well as a tech package that includes a head-up display. Pricing for the 2022 GMC Sierra 2500 starts at $40,200. This is for the GMC Sierra 2500 HD Pro, and it can tow an astonishing 36,000. It also has a maximum payload of 7,442. Additionally, the Sierra 2500 has a 6.6 liter V8 engine mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission.
